Shower of Flowers
Mathew led us to the Vajrasattva Stupa and after say-
ing prayers, he put Taliesin’s ashes into the Buddha
cave at the top of the Stupa. It was cloudy overhead
and drizzling, but as soon as he put the ashes in the
cave, the sun burst through the clouds. “Very auspi-
cious, a shower of flowers!” Mathew proclaimed.
“What does that mean Mathew?” I asked.
“That means it is sunny and it is still raining,” he re-
plied.
“Where is the rainbow?” I asked, looking all around.
We could not see the rainbow because we were right in
it. It had launched right out of the Stupa.
Two people who had heard Taliesin’s message saw the
double rainbow launching from the Stupa, across the
sky, arching to the temple and photographed the mir-
acle.
